BIP: Behavior Intervention Plans
A behavioral intervention plan is a plan that is based on the results of a functional behavioral assessment (FBA) and, at a minimum, includes a description of the problem behavior, global and specific hypotheses as to why the problem behavior occurs and intervention strategies that include positive behavioral supports and services to address the behavior. Behaviors are addressed through the evidence-based of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
"Our perfect companions never have fewer than four feet."
Wait, what is ABA?
Applied behavior analysis, also called behavioral engineering, is a scientific technique concerned with applying empirical approaches based upon the principles of respondent and operant conditioning to change behavior of social significance to benefit the life of the individual.
